How does a shared link open?
On an iPhone with Con Compás, tap the link and the compás opens in the app, on the clock, ready to play. It lands in your compases at the end of Custom, under the name it was shared with, or, when that name is taken, with “copy” and a number after it. Tap the same link twice and you have it twice.
If the link opens this site's page in Safari instead, touch and hold it, and choose to open it in Con Compás.
Without the app, the link opens a page of this site that names the compás, shows it on the clock as the app would, and says that it opens in Con Compás.
A link the app cannot read changes nothing, and the app says why: “This link is from a newer Con Compás.” or “This link is not a compás.”
Where is a compás kept?
On your iPhone, in Con Compás. Every compás you build, change or receive is kept on the phone, with the tempo, sound and count-in you set on it. The app has no account and no server of its own, so to have a compás on another phone, share it: the link carries the compás itself.
Why does the phone not vibrate while it is locked?
Because iOS lets no app vibrate from the background or behind a locked screen. As the line under “Vibrate on accents” in the settings says: “The phone vibrates with every accent while the app is open. Locked, or in another app, the compás plays on without it.”
Once Con Compás is in front again, the phone vibrates with the next accent, with nothing to stop and start.
