The app
Con Compás collects no personal data and requires no account.
Everything you create in the app stays on your device, including your compases, their tempo, sound, count-in, and any changes you make to them.
The app does not upload or sync this information anywhere. The only time a compás leaves your device is when you choose to share it.
A compás you make or receive stays on your device until you delete it in the app. The presets can't be deleted, so what you change on one stays until you delete the app, which deletes every compás with it. The app keeps no copy anywhere else, but if you back up your device, your compases are in that backup too, like everything else on it.
Sharing a compás
When you share a compás, all the information needed to open it is contained in the link itself. This includes its name, beats, both voices, tempo, sound, and count-in.
There is no database or server storing your shared compases. The link contains the compás, so it can still be opened later, even if the original app is no longer running.
If someone opens a shared link without the app installed, it opens on this website. The website reads the compás from the link and displays it. We do not store the compás or the link.
A shared link is kept by whoever has it, in the chat or email it was sent in, for as long as they keep it there, and deleting it is up to them. If it is opened on this website, Cloudflare's records of that visit hold it too, as described below.
This website
concompas.app does not use cookies, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or third-party fonts, images, or videos.
The website is served by Cloudflare, which keeps technical records of the requests it handles, such as your IP address, country, browser, and the URL requested. For a shared compás, that URL contains the compás itself. We don't use these records to build profiles or track you.
If a page fails to load, your browser may also send Cloudflare a short error report, which it keeps without your IP address. How long Cloudflare keeps all this is set out in its privacy policy.
Your rights
Inlet makes Con Compás and is responsible for this data. Cloudflare's records exist so the site can be served and kept safe. You can ask us what is kept about you or for it to be deleted, and you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
